Koen Wauters on TV caricature

Koen Wauters was very popular as the singer of the Flemish pop group Clouseau
and also as a TV presenter on the commercial Flemish TV channel VTM.

This was my FIRST EVER illustration with GOUACHE.
I moved away from my usual watercolor paint because its lighter tones became too faded when printed.
Some parts I liked, others were a bit disappointing, I thought...I still had to learn it by doing...

Printed in the children's magazine KLAP.

A few years before I had already drawn Koen Wauters in pencil for 'Kits',
a sister magazine of 'Klap' from the same publisher.
This caricature looked quite different, I had then emphasized other features of his face...
